Anderson will investigate additional funding for the rock work. Report 94-022 _ .Glenna Burleson, 2987 Bent Tree Hills, said her previous concerns have not been heard, and feels the westend trail would be aesthetically unattractive and a safety concern. She would not have bought the property if she knew of the 8 R. trail. Berke asked who had told Ms. Burleson that the pazk would not include a trail system. Ms. Burleson said the developer did not suggest that a trail system would- ~ . be installed, and the Park Department stated that no plans have been made- regarding - its development. Berke confirmed that the pazk's general layout had not changed in -- - ~.. four yeazs, and the only variations made were to the eastend. Anderson said the Pazk staff informed callers that the City had not adopted a-plan, however, the developer had presented several variations to the Pazk Board: The Pazk Board had extensively spoke in regards to a trail system when the plat was approved, and the westend was identified eazly'on as a potential trail location, but surfacing was not - - discussed. Berke added that the City deliberately waited until the adjacent homes` = _ _. were constructed so that residents could have input in the pazk's development: ° ' - - Williams asked how`would unauthorized'vehicles be prohibited-from trail use - ~ - • ~•- .
