• --?i. <br />°, . <br />~.. <br /> <br />ADOPT-A-PARK TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />1. The group agrees to pick-up litter in~the requested/assigned City park at <br />least (3) times over a one year period. <br />2. The group shall pick-up litter during daylight hours only. <br />3. The group shall provide adequate supervision to participants eighteen <br />.years of age or younger on site at all times during the clean-up project. <br />4. The group shall arrange litter pick-up date(s) at least .one week in <br />advance with the Parks and Recreation Department. The group shall obtain <br />their clean-up materials (trash bags) during regular business hours, which <br />are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Handay - Friday. <br />5. The group shall place filled trash bags at a prearranged pick-up point at`. <br />each park. Groups are .encouraged to recycle approprSate.materials for <br />their own benefit. <br />6. .Borrowed or unused supplies shall .be returned to the Parks and Recreation <br />Department office within a week. <br />7: Groups wishing to oversee the planting projects in the adopted park should <br />prearrange the tree pick-up and planting location with the Parks and <br />. Recreation Director. <br />The Parks and Recreation separtment agrees to: <br />1. Provide trash bags, safety training materials and temporary traffic <br />warnfnq signs when necessary as determined by the Parke and Recreation <br />Department. <br />2. Arrange to remove filled trash bags from the adopted park. <br />3. Arrange to remove large, heavy or hazardous material from the adopted <br />park. <br />4. Coordinate publicity with the-group to solicit local media coverage. <br />5. Lrect a 2• x 3' sign at the designated park location highlighting the <br />groups commitment to t_he Adopt-A-Park Program. <br />
