NEW BRIGHTON PARK BOARD <br />MINUTES <br />OCTOBER 2, 1991 <br />I. Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm by Chair Johnson <br />II. Members Present: Cazlson, Eichers, Johnson, Kalina, Kinzie, <br />Olson, Council Rep. Gunderman <br />Members Absent: Ocel, Rose, Seward <br />III. Minutes of September 4, 1991 <br />MOTION BY OLSON, SECONDED BY CARLSON, TO ACCEPT THE SEPTEMBER 4, <br />1991 PARK BOARD MINUTES AS SUBMITTED. MOTION CARRIED. <br />IV. Correspondence <br />A. Long Lake Advisory Committee <br />Anderson said he would like to get the LLAC together on the lake use and to discuss mill <br />foil, surface use and boat launch procedures. Greg Mack from Ramsey County was <br />going to see what he could do. Anderson said he may call a meeting if the LLAC <br />doesn't do it. <br />Johnson asked if New Brighton should ~e take responsibility for the Long Lake Advisory <br />Committee. Hold the meetings as part of the Pazk Board and maybe on a quarterly basis <br />invite Ken Simons to make a presentation. <br />Anderson said some time ago the committee mentioned that they were not interested in <br />disbanding. <br />Cazlson said the committee was saying they didn't want to see everything dropped. <br />Anderson said he will call Greg and see what he thinks. <br />B. Council Report <br />Gunderman, said the City is trying to get builders in for the Herbst site but having <br />problem with variance. Want to see it developed but it is all polluted soil with no <br />practical use for the property. Methane gas is the problem. <br />Eichers asked what kind of development is planned for lot 1, Brighton Corporate Pazk. <br />Johnson said -Health One -some kind of oxygen storage. <br />
