They said these things have <br />been tried for years with no success. <br />Comm. Grimshaw noted there are no signs on 12t~ Ave NW regarding the other pazking <br />lot until you aze down in the cul-de-sac. <br />Comm. Elwell stated he would be more in favor of eliminating the Frisbee golf course <br />than recommending any permit only parking. Comm. Woods asked if the City wanted to <br />spend the resources needed to enforce signage. <br />Comm. Kelly made a motion to have a 1-yeaz suspension of the Frisbee golf course for <br />the summer of 2007 to let the land rest and have the Parks, Recreation and Environmental <br />Commission review the possibility of a return of Frisbee golf in 20D8 in an organized <br />league that would be fee based play for both league and pick up play; review a redesign <br />of the course to eliminate the holes at the end of 12th Ave NW; and, review the possibility <br />of constructing a pazking azea by the well house off of County Road E. <br />Comm. Elwell seconded; motion carried. <br />Human Rights Dav Training Review <br />Comm. Kelly thanked the Public Safety department for sending her to the Human Rights <br />Day training on December 1St. She amended this with Council Member Burg. Comm. <br />Kelly stated there was a lot of good infarmation,'at the sessions but there was not enough <br />time to discuss it all. She would encourage others to attend. <br />New Business <br />Election of Chair f ~,UQ7 <br />Comm. Kerns inquired if any other Cpmmissioners were interested in serving as the <br />Chair of the Public Safety Commission. Comm. Elwell made a motion for Comm. Kerns <br />to continue as the Chair for 20Q7; Comm. Grimshaw seconded and all were in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br />Adiourn <br />Cornet. Allen motioned to adjourn the January Public Safety Commission meeting; <br />Comm. Elwell seconded. Motion carried. <br />The January Fublic Safety Commission meeting adjourned at 8:35 prn. <br />• <br />
