<br />';". <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO 84-42 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING SPECIAL USE <br />PERMIT, SP-1l9 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application for a special use permit, SP-119, has <br />been made by the City of New Brighton for the property described <br />as: <br /> <br />Lots 27, 28, 29 and 30, Block 4, First Addition To <br />New Brighton, Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />to allow expansion of the New Brighton Fire Station on a site with <br />Type IV non-conformities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That a request for a special use permit, SP-ll9, has been <br />made by the City of New Brighton. <br />2. That the Planning Commission, pursuant to published and <br />mailed notices, held a public hearing on March 28, 1984, <br />and all persons present at the hearing were given an <br />opportunity to be heard. <br />3. That the application for SP-I09 was reviewed by the City <br />Council on April lO, 1984. <br />4. That the comments and analysis of staff and the Planning <br />Commission minutes and recommendations were considered. <br /> <br />I' <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the <br />following Findings of Fact are made in respect to SP-l19: <br /> <br />1. That the regulations of the downtown business district <br />specify that there shall be no expansion of buildings <br />without obtaining a special use permit. <br />2. That fire station expansion is consistent with the <br />approved general downtown development plan, the Comprehen- <br />sive Plan, and the special use standards, <br />3. That expansion of the Fire Station is essential to main- <br />tain the health and safety of the residents of New <br />Brighton. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council approves . <br />recommends approval of special use permit SP-199 on the fol16wing <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1.
