<br />i.. <br /> <br />.~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO <br /> <br />83-123 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING SP-117 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an application for a special use permit entitled <br />SP-ll7 has been made by Stony Lake Office Park for the property <br />described as: <br /> <br />Lot 9, Except the South 50. feet; <br />Lot 10 to 14 Inclusive, in Block 1, Pike Lake Estates, <br />Ramsey County; <br /> <br />to establish a sign plan for Stony Lake Office Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That an application for special use permit SP-l17 was <br />filed with the City of New Brighton on October 4, 1983. <br />2. That the Planning Commission, pursuant to published and <br />mailed notices held a public hearing on October 18, 1984, <br />all persons present at the hearing were given an <br />opportunity to be heard. <br />3. That such application was reviewed by the City Council <br />on October 25, 1983. <br />4. The written comments and analysis of the City staff, the <br />Planning Commission minutes, and recommendations were <br />considered. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the New Brighton City <br />Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect to SP-117: <br /> <br />1. That the property is zoned B-2, Neighborhood Business and <br />is developed as an Office Park. <br />2. That the "Stony Lake Office Park" identification sign is <br />within the area and height requirements. <br />3. That Stony Lake Office Park has multiple buildings all <br />having multiple occupancy with both individual and <br />shared entrances that require special sign considerations. I <br />4. That the proposed sign plan is consistent and compatible <br />with the basic intention of the sign ordinance in that <br />it reduces clutter, provides sound identification and is <br />aesthetically pleasing. <br /> <br />Adopted this 25th day of October, 1983. <br /> <br /> <br />/7"~ <br /> <br />.
