<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />May 13, 1986 <br /> <br />Public Hearings, continued <br /> <br />Motion by Gunderman, seconded by Brandt, to WAIVE THE READING <br />AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDMENT OF THE MODIFIED <br />DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO.1, THE <br />AMENDMENT OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLANS FOR TAX INCREMENT <br />FINANCING DISTRICTS NO. 1 THROUGH NO. 10 TO REFLECT INCREASED <br />PROJECT COSTS AND ESTABLISHMENT OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING <br />DISTRICT NO. 11, AND ADOPTION OF THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING <br />PLAN RELATING THERETO. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Egan had nothing to add to the staff report concerning the <br />public hearing on changes in election precincts. <br /> <br />As neither councilmembers nor audience members had any questions, <br />motion by Gunderman, seconded by Brandt, to CONTINUE THE HEARING <br />UNTIL THE MAY 27, 1986, COUNCIL MEETING. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Krueger reviewed staff report concerning a request for a minor <br />subdivision of property to create five additional single family <br />lots, a noted that Mark Murlowski of Belair Builders was present <br />to answer any questions. <br /> <br />As there were no comments or questions from councilor the <br />audience, Williams moved, seconded by Brandt, to CLOSE THE <br />PUBLIC HEARING. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nyes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Brandt, seconded by Gunderman, to WAIVE THE READING <br />AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND APPROVING A <br />SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN NEW BRIGHTON (generally the <br />northwest quadrant of the intersection of 12th Avenue N.W. and <br />County Road E). <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />With regard to the petition to not vacate Third Avenue N.W. <br />between Eighth and Ninth Street N.W., Proper had no comments. <br /> <br />Mayor Benke received the petition as well as a letter from <br />Father Jerry Grieman, Pastor of the Church of St. John the <br />Baptist, which had just been received by the council. <br /> <br />Both Gunderman and Brandt felt the letter from Father Grieman <br />addressed several items that needed review; Benke stated time was <br />needed to review the letter. <br /> <br />(Councilmember Schmidt arrived at 7:54 p.m.) <br /> <br />Page Three <br /> <br />Election Precinct <br />Changes <br />Report 86-98 <br />7:47-7:50p.m. <br /> <br />Minor Subdivision <br />Belair Builders <br />Report 86-99 <br />Resolution 86-45 <br />7:50-7:5lpm <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Petition: Not to <br />Vacate Third Ave. <br />between 8th & 9th <br />Streets <br />Report 86-100 <br />
