<br />COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Pursuant to notice thereof. a regular meeting of the New Brighton City <br />Council was held Tuesday. June 11. 1985. at 7:30 p.m, in the municipal <br />building. 803 Fifth Avenue NW, <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Harcus. Councilmembers Blomquist. Janecek. and Schmidt <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmember Benke <br /> <br />Also <br />Present: Henry Sinda. City Manager <br />James Winkels. Director of Community Development <br />Les Proper. City Engineer <br />Brenda Krueger. City Planner <br />Gary Berger. Administrative Assistant <br />Charles LeFevere. City Attorney <br /> <br />Agenda Addition <br /> <br />Mayor Harcus stated that consideration of three applications <br />for Industrial Revenue Bonds would be added to the agenda as <br />Item V II 1-6 . <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek. seconded by Blomquist. to APPROVE THE MINUTES <br />OF THE MAY 28. 1985. REGULAR MEETING, <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes. Motion Carried <br /> <br />Special Order of Business <br /> <br />Mayor Harcus read a resolution commending Jim Skiba. Parks Dept- <br />ment, for over nineteen years of service to the City of New <br />Brighton before retiring this month. <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus. seconded by Blomquist. to ADOPT A RESOLUTION <br />OF COMMENDATION FOR JIM SKIBA. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes. Motion Carried <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Harcus asked that Item VI-5 (Consideration of Mengelkoch <br />Company/LeFevere Firm Representation for Contamination) be re- <br />moved from the Consent Agenda and placed on Council Business as <br />Item V II I - 7 . <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Janecek. to APPROVE THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA ITEMS AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1, CONSIDERATION OF TRANSFER OF FOOD ESTABLISHMENT LICENSE <br />(GRANDMA'S TAKE 'N' BAKE), <br /> <br />Addition <br /> <br />Minutes <br /> <br />Special Order <br />of Business <br /> <br />Commendation for <br />Jim Skiba <br />Report 85-156 <br />Resolution 85-57 <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br /> <br />Food License - <br />Grandma's <br />Take "n" Bake <br />Report 85-157 <br />
