<br />Council Minutes <br />June 25, 1985 <br /> <br />Page Nine <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Harcus. to AUTHORIZE THE <br />MAYOR AND THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE ACCESS AGREEMENT <br />WITH MPCA FOR LOCATING A MONITORING WELL ON CITY STREET RIGHT- <br />OF-WAY SOUTHWESTERLY OF PIKE LAKE, <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Sinda stated that as the Regional Transit Board membership <br />has been reduced from fourteen to eight. Bernard Skrebes <br />has once again asked for the City's support for his re- <br />appointment. <br /> <br />Regi ona I Trans it <br />Board <br /> <br />As Mr, Skrebes has done such an excellent job in the last <br />year as a member of the RTB. motion by Harcus. seconded by <br />Blomquist, to REAFFIRM RESOLUTION 84-03 AND SEND LETTERS TO <br />THOSE THAT WOULD BE AFFECTED ASKING THEIR SUPPORT OF BERNIE <br />SKREBES'S REAPPOINTMENT TO THE REGIONAL TRANSIT BOARD, <br /> <br />\ <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes. Motion Carried <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Sinda stated he believes there should be a policy concerning <br />payment to Advisory Boards. <br /> <br />Following council's decision to reimburse those attending <br />the Human Rights Corrnnission annual convention in St, Cloud, <br />Harcus moved. seconded by Janecek. to ASSIGN TO THE CITIZEN <br />STUDY COMMITTEE THE DEVELOPMENT OF A TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT <br />POLICY FOR ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS, <br /> <br />Advisory Board <br />Travel Policy <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Announcements and Updates Announcements <br /> <br />Blomquist announced that the July 17th RCLLG meeting would RCLLG <br />be a picnic and a tour of elderly housing projects; encouraged <br />staff to make senior groups in New Brighton aware of this event, <br /> <br />Benke asked that. in the future, Development Advisory Board Board minutes <br />minutes be officially received by the Council. <br /> <br />Discussed "Council Comments" column, "Council Comments" <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Janecek announced that because most Youth Service Bureau services Youth Service <br />are provided in Roseville, they would be asking for contributions Bureau <br />to expand services to the New Grighton/Mounds View area, Paul <br />Donnelly has space available and is willing to pay some of the <br />cos ts, <br /> <br />Harcus stated he would like to hear what they plan to do and the <br />options available, <br />
