Consolidated Fund Vouchers - 067350-067450 and <br /> 068622-068689 <br />2. Consideration of Offensive Trade License for Mengel- <br /> koch Co. - Report 84-274 <br />3. Consideration of Offensive Trade License for Gordon <br /> Rendering - Report 84-275 <br /> <br />4. Consideration of resolution reapportioning 73-9 storm <br />sewer assessment (Division No. 058727) <br /> <br />5. Consideration of resolution reapportioning 69-11 sewer/ <br />water assessment (Division No. 058846) <br /> <br />6. Consideration of a request for six-month extension on <br />site plan approval and nonconforming use permit - J & B <br />Auto <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />With regard to appointing Voto~ Reardon, and Tautges as the <br />auditor for the City for the 1984 Fiscal Year, Egan had <br />nothing further to report; however, she stated that Dennis <br />Wright, chairman of the Financial Policy Advisory Board's <br />subcommittee, was in attendance to answer any questions. <br /> <br />Wright reviewed the subcommittee's analysis of the proposals, <br />indicating that Voto, Reardon, and Tautges showed the most <br />extensive list and greatest awareness of the needs of the <br />City than other bidders. <br /> <br />Benke questioned the benefit of a firm having extensive <br />liquor involvement; didn't feel we want a firm that gets <br />involved in critiquing the operation of a firm (we could <br />be creating a conflict of interest); strongly feels the <br />auditor we hire should have sound financial knowledge and <br />expertise. <br /> <br />Harcus feels it a benefit to have a firm that is well- <br />versed in the knowledge of liquor, but acknowledged that <br />the liquor department is not the largest portion of the <br />city's finances. <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Blomquist. to WAIVE THE READ- <br />ING AND ADOPT THE RESOLUTION APPOINTING VOTO, REARDON, AND <br />TAUTGES AS THE AUDITOR FOR THE CITY FOR THE 1984 FISCAL YEAR. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Page Two <br /> <br />Vouchers <br /> <br />Offensive Trade <br />Licenses <br />Resolution 84-152 <br /> <br />Resolution 84-153 <br /> <br />Reapportionment <br />Resolution 84-154 <br /> <br />Reapportionment <br />Resolution 84-155 <br /> <br />Extension - J & B <br />Auto <br />Report 84-276 <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />City Aud itor for <br />1984 Fiscal Year <br />Report 84-278 <br />Resolution 84-156 <br />
