Amendment Carried <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried as Amended <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Blomquist, to DIRECT THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION AND STAFF TO DISCUSS SECTION 4-580(b) OF <br />THE NHJ BRIGHTON ZONING CODE AND THE DEFINITION OF PRIMARY <br />STRUCTURE AND HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON ANY CHANGES TO THE <br />ORDINANCE THE PLANNING COMMISSION FEELS ARE NECESSARY. <br /> <br />Ordinance Amend- <br />ment - Setback <br />Exemptions <br />Report 84-285 <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Winkels reviewed staff report, stating the applicants were <br />present to answer any questions. <br /> <br />Application for <br />IRB'S - Erickson's <br />Super Valu <br />Report 84-280 <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Schmid~ to RATIFY THE PUBLI- <br />CATION OF A NOTICE CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING AT A SPECIAL <br />MEETING ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 31, 1984, AT 1 :00 P.M. FOR <br />CONSIDERATION OF A PRELIMINARY RESOLUTION FOR INDUSTRIAL <br />REVENUE BOND FINANCING - ERICKSON'S SUPER VALU. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes. Motion Carried <br /> <br />Krueger had nothing to add to the staff report concerning <br />a request for site plan approval to construct a new commercial <br />building, stating that the Erickson's and their architect were <br />present. <br /> <br />Nick Mezanyi, architect, explained the building plan and <br />showed pictures of landscaping of their Plymouth building, <br />stating they have corrected the concerns of the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Site Plan Approval <br />Erickson's Super <br />Valu <br />Report 84-281 <br /> <br />Schmidt stated he believes this is an excellent addition to <br />the city and made a motion, seconded by Harcus, to APPROVE <br />LP-173 SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. THAT SPRUCE TREES BE PLANTED ALONG THE WEST AND EAST <br />PROPERTY LINES TO SCREEN TRUCK DOCKS AND PARKING AREAS; <br />2. THAT THE MOST EASTERLY ACCESS TO THE NEW BUILDING <br />ON RICE CREEK ROAD BE AT LEAST 50 FEET FROM THE ACCESS <br />TO SUPERAMERICA; <br />3. THAT THE BERMS AND VEGETATION ALONG RICE CREEK ROAD <br />BE COMPLETED IN SUCH A WAY AS NOT TO INTERFERE WITH <br />THE VISIBILITY OF VEHICLES ENTERING OR EXITING THE <br />DEVElOPMENT FROM RI CE CREEK ROAD; <br />4. FINAL APPROVAL OF GRADING AND DRAINAGE PLAN BY RICE <br />CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT AND CITY ENGINEER; AND <br />5. CONFORMANCE WITH SITE AND LANDSCAPE PLANS AS SIGNED <br />AND DATED BY THE APPLICANT AND THE CITY PLANNER. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br />
