FOR $2,156.00. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Schmidt, to WAIVE THE READING <br />AND HOLD THE FIRST READING OF AN ORDINANCE Ar~ENDING CHAPTER 2 <br />OF THE NEW BRIGHTON CITY CODE BY THE ADDITION OF ARTICLE VII <br />RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT 'OF A DEVELOPMENT FUND AND GUIDE- <br />LINES FOR ITS USE. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Winkels had nothing to add to the staff report in which <br />Mr. Gary Diagle, Garjac, Inc., requests that the sale price <br />of Lot 18, Block 1, Redmond Addition, be reduced to zero; <br />noted that both broker and builder were present to di scuss <br />the issue. <br /> <br />Richard Carey~ Coldwell Banker, noted that the builder had <br />encountered $13,900 in soil corrections, rather than the <br />$6,000 indicated in Braun Excavation's report in June of <br />1983, and the builder would like to recover most of the <br />excavation costs. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Schmidt asked what would happen if the previous owner had <br />not been the City, but rather a private business.
