Consideration of miscellaneous budget changes <br /> <br />Budget Changes, misc. <br />Report 84-163 <br />Resolution 84-91 <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Winkels had nothing to add to the staff report regarding <br />a minor subdivision, Stenstrom. <br /> <br />Minor Subdivision, <br />Stenstrom <br />Report 84-164 <br />Resolution 84-92 <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Blomquist to WAIVE THE <br />READING AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBDIVISION OF <br />CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON. <br /> <br />Benke asked for clarification of the sketch which indi- <br />cated the lot on Inca would be a double-deck lot. <br />Winkels responded affirmatively. <br /> <br />Lynn Sanford, 575 Fairfield Drive N.W., expressed con- <br />cern of uneven division of lot and distribution of <br />taxes. <br /> <br />Harcus informed her that new taxes would not be placed <br />on existing homes and that the new lots meet our mini- <br />mum standards. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Winkels suggested that Dick Putnam, representing <br />Centex, speak on the request for rezoning, preliminary <br />planned residential development, and preliminary plat <br />approval for a large residential housing project as <br />proposed by Centex Homes. <br /> <br />Centex Homes <br />Report 84-127 Supplement <br /> <br />Putnam indicated that Centex has been meetino with <br />the property owner and neighbors. Centex would like <br />to ask the Council to continue the item for another <br />two weeks, giving them time to work out some particu- <br />1 ar items. <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Schmidt to GRANT CON- <br />TINUANCE TO CENTEX HOMES UNTIL JULY 10, 1984. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Egan had nothing to add to the staff report concerning <br />the budget change for tornado costs. <br /> <br />Harcus commended staff for keeping costs down. <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Schmidt to WAIVE THE <br />READING AND ADOPT THE RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUDGET <br />CHANGE FOR TORNADO COSTS. <br /> <br />Budget Change, Tornado <br />Cost <br />Report 84- 165 <br />Resolution 84-93 <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br />
