<br />The City Manager reviewed the various topics considered by the Citizen Study
<br />Committee for the Town Hall Meeting scheduled for March 3, 1984.
<br />
<br />Councilmember Benke stated that he felt the issue of municipal ownership
<br />for liquor operations should be an item for the town hall agenda.
<br />
<br />Councilmember Schmidt stated that he felt the City relationship with private
<br />developers and development would be a good issue plus the cable issues and
<br />the upcoming BrookdalejNew Brighton Day presentation would be an additional
<br />good issue.

<br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Blomquist to waive the reading and adopt a
<br />RESOLUTION ELIMINATING NON-COLLECTIBLE DEBTS.

<br />RESOLUTION CANCELLING OUTSTANDING CITY ISSUED CHECKS.

<br />The City Clerk reviewed the October liquor statements noting that the
<br />operation is in the black and no further action is required.
<br />
<br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Janecek to adopt a RESOLUTION DECLARING
<br />DEVELOPERS/ESCROW DEPOSITS AS REVENUE.

<br />Council member Blomquist noted that the next Ramsey County League Meeting
<br />was the annual Christmas Party on December 14, 1983.
<br />
<br />Councilmember Schmidt reviewed the latest events in regard to the cable T.V.
<br />situation with Group W.
<br />
