Receipt of a revised site plan showing all <br />required setback dimensions. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Parks and Recreation Director reviewed the <br />staff report regarding Long Lake Park Funds <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Benke, seconded by Janecek, <br />to defer further action on the ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 2 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON CITY CODE BY THE <br />ADDITION OF ARTICLE VI RELATING TO EXPENDITURES OF <br />REVENUES DERIVED FROM THE SALE OF LONG LAKE PARK <br />LANDS, until further recommendation from the City <br />Attorney. <br /> <br />SAyes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Parks and Recreation Director reviewed the <br />staff report on the purchase of landscape timbers <br />for Hansen and Meadow Wood Parks. <br /> <br />Mayor Harcus stated that the neighbors very much <br />liked the addition to the park. <br /> <br />Councilmember Janecek indicated she felt the plans <br />were very creative and interesting. <br /> <br />Supplement to <br />Report #83-91 <br />Long Lake Park <br />Funds Ordinance <br /> <br />Purchase of Land- <br />scape Timbers - <br />Hansen and Meadow <br />Wood Parks <br />Report #83-109 <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Janecek, to authorize <br />the purchase of treated timbers from MacGillis& Gibbs, Inc. <br />in the amount of $3,775.40. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Parks and Recreation Director reviewed the <br />staff report on the petition from residents <br />requesting the possible use of a City owned <br />gravel pit for public open space. <br /> <br />Mayor Harcus stated he wouid like to see what <br />the loss of tax dollars would be if the property <br />in question was developed privately rather than as, <br />as public park.
