As you might know, certain <br />restrictive covenants were filed against the proposed new <br />store location at the time our original New Brighton store <br />was built. rl\hese restrictions were filed by Super Valu for <br />our protection to prevent the possibility of another super- <br />market being developed next to our New Brighton site. The <br />removal of the restrictions requires the consent of ourselves, <br />Super Valu Stores, Inc., and our present landlord. Regret- <br />ably, we have not yet received the consent of our landlord. <br />Until we can resolve this challenge with our landlord we will <br />not exercise our option to buy and develop the land for the <br />new store. <br /> <br />Because of this delay we do not feel we should bring <br />our building proposal to the attention of the New Brighton <br />Council. I have advised Nick Mazanyi of Planmark Engineering <br />accordingly. <br /> <br />Although we have been delayed, we are still fully <br />committed to this opportunity of providing New Brighton with <br />what promises to be one of the more exciting supermarkets in <br />the Twin Cities.
