<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City of New Brighton <br />November 23, 1982 <br /> <br />Notion by Barcus, seconded by Schmidt <br />to close the hearing. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Benke to waive <br />the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING <br />TAX INCREMENT DISTRICT NO. 4 WITHIN DEVELOPMENT <br />DISTRIC'f NO. 1 PURSUANT TO TIlE PROVISIONS OF <br />MINNESOTA STATUTES, SECTIONS 273.71 TO 273.78, <br />INCLUSIVE, AS AMENDED AND APPROVING AND ADOPTING <br />A TAX INCREMENT FINANCE PLAN FOR SAID TAX <br />INCREMENT DISTRICT and A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br />'I'HE ISSUANCE AND AWARDING THE SALE OF $150,000 <br />GENERAL OBLIGATION TAX INCREMENT BOND OF 1982; <br />FIXING THE FOR}1 AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREOF; <br />AND PROVIDING FOR ITS PAYMENT. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes --motion carried <br /> <br />Council Business <br />Mr. Maurice Anderson, Director of Parks and <br />Recreation, was present to discuss the <br />Uyift catalogueU project. <br /> <br />Motion by Barcus, seconded by Schmidt to direct <br />staff and the Park Board to prepare a community <br />qilt book dnd catalo'lue and to report back to <br />111(' Cily ('oullcil in .ldnuary. <br />4 JY~~ - U naye~ - llIotion carried <br /> <br />, <br />John Grau, Acting Director of Finance, reviewed <br />the City Manager's report reqarding the 1982 and <br />1983 City budyets and potential impacts of the <br />existing state deficit.
