Section 17. The Issuer hereby approves the form of the preliminary Official Statement, dated August 29, 1983, on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer, and hereby rati- fies and confirms its use and distribution by Miller & Schroeder Municipals, Inc., the Underwr iter, in connection with the sale of the Bonds and hereby approves the form of the final Official Statement, dated September 1, 1983, and consents to the distribution of the final Official Statement to prospective purchasers of the Bonds; however, the Issuer makes no representations with respect to and assumes no responsibility for the contents of said Official Statement. Section 18. The Trustee is hereby appointed as Paying Agent for the Bonds pursuant to Section 702 of the Inden- ture. Section 19. The Mavor of the Issuer is hereby desig- nated and author ized to act on behalf of the Issuer as the Issuer Representative (as defined in the Agreement). The Clerk-Treasurer of the Issuer is hereby designated and au thor i zed to act' on behalf of the I ssuer as an al terna te Issuer Representative. Section 20. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. Adopted by the City Council on September 13, 1983.
