<br />.. ~ ' <br /> <br />OFFICIAL <br />NOTICE OF SALE <br /> <br />$1,400,000 General Obligation Tax Increment <br />Bonds of 1983, Series A <br />City of New Brighton <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the undersigned will receive <br />sealed bids for the above bonds until 3:30 o'clock p.m., <br />Central Time, in the New Brighton City Hall on Tuesday, <br />July 12, 1983, when the bids will be opened. The City Coun- <br />cil of the City of New Brighton, Minnesota, will meet at the <br />New Brighton City Hall at 7:30 o'clock p.m., Central Time, <br />on the same day to consider the bids for award of sale of <br />$1,400,000 fully registered, general obligation bonds of the <br />City on the following terms: <br /> <br />Purpose and Security <br /> <br />The purpose of the bonds is to provide funds for the <br />financing of various public improvements in the City's Tax <br />Increment Financing District No.3. The bonds will be gen- <br />eral obligations of the issuer, for which its full faith and <br />credit and taxing powers will be pledged. <br /> <br />Date and Maturities <br /> <br />The bonds will be dated August 1, 1983, will be issued <br />in and exchangeable for denominations which are integral <br />multiples of $5,000, and will mature without option of prior <br />redemption on August 1 in the following years and amounts: <br /> <br />Year Amount Year Amount <br />1985 $ 50,000 1992 $125,000 <br />1986 50,000 1993 125,000 <br />1987 75,000 1994 125,000 <br />1988 75,000 1995 150,000 <br />1989 100,000 1996 150,000 <br />1990 100,000 1997 175,000 <br />1991 100,000 <br /> In te rest <br /> <br />Interest on the bonds will be payable on August 1, 1984, <br />and semiannually thereafter on each February 1 and August 1. <br />All bonds maturing on the same date must bear interest from <br />da te of issue un ti 1 paid at a single I uni form ra te I not <br />exceeding the rate specified for bonds of any subsequent <br />maturity.
