That an application for SP-llOwas filed with the City <br />on April 26, 1983. <br />2. That the Planning Commission, pursuant to published <br />and mailed notices, held a public hearing on May 17, 1983, <br />all persons present at the hearing were given an <br />opportunity to be heard. <br />3. That, such appl ication was reviewed by the City Council <br />on May 24, 1983. <br />4. The written comments and analysis of the city staff, <br />the Planning Commission minutes and recommendations were <br />considered. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the New Brighton City <br />Council makes the following Findings of Fact in respect to SP-l10: <br /> <br />1. The property is zoned B-2, Neighborhood Business District. <br />2. The property is adjacent to an R-l, Single Family <br />Residential District. <br />3. The proposal may be injurious to the use and enjoyment <br />of property in the vicinity, specifically the single <br />family homes. <br />4. Access roads or easement to adjoining property may be <br />impaired. <br />5. The proposal would be detrimental to the general welfare <br />of the neighborhood. <br />6. Several area residents and property owners spoke at the <br />Public Hearing in opposition citing traffic, litter, <br />access and concern for safety and property values as <br />problems. <br /> <br />, <br />II BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the application SP-110 is and <br />1/ hereby denied. <br /> <br />i!
