RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SALE OF CITY;OWNED LAND DESIGNATED AS LONG <br />! LAKE PARK TO RM1SEY COUNTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING THOSE <br />! LANDS AS A REGIONAL PARK <br />il <br />Ii WHEREAS the City has purchased lands adjacent to Long Lake <br />II for purposes of developing a multi-use park, and <br /> <br />!l WHEREAS Ramsey County has purchased adjoining lands for the <br />II purpose of park developm~nt, and . <br />,I <br />d <br />P <br />,I <br />II <br /> <br />II WHEREAS the Metropolitan Council has designated funds to <br />Ii develop the park, and .. <br /> <br />I! WHEREAS the park will provide services and facilities to the <br />Ii citizens of the City which are equivalent or superior to those <br />!j which could be provided by the City and at lesser cost to City <br />'i residents, and <br />h <br />ii WHEREAS the City, therefore, does not have a need to maintain <br />!; ownership of the park land adjacent to Long Lake, and <br />II. <br />,I WHEREAS the City desires to facilitate the timely develop- <br />'I <br />l! ment of this park, and <br />'i <br />L <br />11 <br />II <br /> <br />j: <br />;!
