The Clerk is directed to ca~se said bonds to be <br />prepared, and the Mayor and the City Manager are authorize6 and <br />directed to execute the same, one by manual signature and one by <br />facsimile signature, and to cause a facsimile of the corporate <br />seal to be printed on each bond, and to cause the interest <br />coupons to be executed and authenticated by the printed facsinile <br />signatures of said officers. The legal opinion of Faegre & <br />Benson, of Minneapolis, Minuesota, respecting the validity anc <br />enforceability of the bonds shall be printed on the reverse side <br />of each bond "and shall be certified by the facsimile signature of <br />the City Clerk. When the bonds shall have been so prepared and <br />executed, they shall be delivered by the City Manager and Clerk- <br />Treasurer in exchange for the purchase price and upon receipt of <br />the signed legal opinion of Faegre & Benson, and the purchaser <br />shall not be required to see to the proper application of the <br />proceeds. <br /> <br />l <br /> <br />6. There is hereby createc a separate debt service <br />fund for said bonds, which shall be held by the City Treasurer <br />and used for no other purpose than to pay principal of and <br />interest on said bonds, provided, that if any payment of <br />principal or interest shall become due when there is not <br />sufficient money in said fund to pay the same, the Treasurer <br />shall pay such principal or interest from the general fund of the <br />City, and said general fund shall be reimbursed for such advances <br />out of the proceeds of taxes levied pursuant hereto or other <br /> <br />-5- <br />
