<br />RESOLUTION CANVASSING RESULTS
<br />OF BOND ELECTION
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New
<br />Brighton, Minnesota, that it is hereby found and determined at
<br />the election held pursuant to due notice thereof on November 2,
<br />1982, to vote upon the question of issuing bonds in the amount of
<br />not to exceed $2,600,000 for the purpose of providing money for
<br />the acquisition and construction of water wells. and related
<br />facilities, there was cast a total of 8,681 votes, of which
<br />7,347 were in favor thereof, 1,332 were against the same,
<br />and 2 were spoiled or defective ballots, and said
<br />proposition is hereby declared to have been carried by more than
<br />the requisite majority vote.

<br />was duly seconded by Councilmember
<br />
<br />Janecek
<br />
<br />and upon a
<br />
<br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor:
<br />
<br />Mayor Gregg Harcus, Councilmembers Bob Benke, 'Jeanette Janecek,
<br />Steve Schmidt
<br />and the following voted against: None
<br />
<br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
