<br />1f <br /> <br />#- ~)'.J-7 /I <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />,'" <br /> <br />\" <br /> <br />'-", <br /> <br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting of <br />the City Council of the City of New Brighton, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br /> <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of New Brighton, Ramsey <br /> <br />County, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City on <br />Tuesday, September 15, 1982 at 7:30 o'clock P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Gregg Harcus, <br />Councilmembers Bob Benke, Roger Blomquist, Jeanette Janecek, <br />Steve Schmidt <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />* * * <br /> <br />* * * <br /> <br />* * * <br /> <br />* * * <br /> <br />'-' <br /> <br />Councilman <br /> <br />Blomquist <br /> <br />introduced ,the following <br /> <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2629A <br />INITIAL RESOLUTION FOR GENERAL OBLIGATION <br />WATBR BONDS AND CALLING FOR AN <br />ELECTION THEREON <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of New <br />Brighton, Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />1. The City Council of the City of New Brighton <br />hereby determines, finds and declares it is necessary and expedient <br />for the City to acquire and co~struct water wells and related <br />facilities to comply with the irective of the Minnesota Depart- <br />ment of Health that the City provide contaminate free water, and <br />to borrow money and issue the general obligation bonds of the <br />City in the amount of not to exceed $1,800,000 for such purpose, <br />such bonds to be payable from general tax levies and water <br />utility revenues in such proportion as the City Council may <br />determine. <br /> <br />2. A special election of the City is hereby called <br />and directed to be held in conjunction with the general election' <br />on November 2, 198~, between the hours of 7:00 o'clock A.M. and <br />8:00 o'clock P.M. Said election shall be held at the regular <br />~ polling places theretofore established for the City elections. <br />
