<br />,.",,:~~ -..... <br /> <br /><".. <br /> <br />." <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 685 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE CHAPTER 21 <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON ORDAINS as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. Section 21-67 (3) of the New Brighton City Code of Ordinances is repealed in <br />its entirety and replaced with the following: <br /> <br />Sec. 21~67. (3) Funeral/Illness in Family. <br /> <br />· When necessary, up to three days of sick leave may be granted to an employee for use in conjunction <br />i with the funeral leave of the employee' s immediate family. Up to three days of sick leave may also <br />. be used for the purpose of attending to the needs of a critically ill member of the employees <br />immediate family. This period may be extended in 30 calendar day increments, up to 90 calendar <br />days, if pre-approved by the City Manager, where a physician has indicated that there is the <br />· imminent probability of death or that the employee is ordered to observe and monitor the condition <br />: of the health of the employee's kin. <br /> <br />Section 2.
