That an application for special use permit, SP-102 <br />was filed with the City of New Brighton on December 28, <br />1981 . <br />2. That the Planning Commission, pursuant to published and <br />mailed notices, held a public hearing on January 19, <br />1982, all person1s present at the hearing were given an <br />opportunity to be heard. <br />3. That such application was considered by the City Council <br />on January 26, 1982. <br />4. That the property is zoned 1-2, Heavy Industrial and <br />that one ground sign, 64 square feet in area and 20 feet <br />in height is allowed; <br />2. That the proposed sign is;within the area and height <br />requirements; <br />3. That the proposed sign meets the intention of the sign <br />code in that it provides ~ound identification, reduces <br />clutter and is aesthetically pleasing. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the application SP-102 is <br />hereby approved subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the ground sign have an area of 60 square feet, <br />height of 14 feet, contain name of building and 10 <br />removal plates to identify name of tenants only; <br />2. That the ground sign be double-faced and setback at <br />least 13 feet, 4 inches from the property line; <br />3. That there be no wall signs allowed on the bU1Jding; <br />4.
