<br />! : <br /> <br />.-.,- i 1 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 724 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES; AMENDING CITY <br />CODE SECTIONS 4-22, 4-62, 4-81 and 15-213. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON ORDAINS that the Code of the <br />. City of New Brighton, Minnesota is amended as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Section 4-22 of the City Code is amended as follows: <br /> <br />No person shall induce a minor to purchase or procure intoxicating liquor or <br />nonintoxicating 3.2 percent malt liquor. <br />I <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Section 4-62 of the City Code is amended as follows: <br /> <br />The hours of operation for the sale of nOnIDtoxieating 3.2 percent malt liquor shall be <br />those specified by State law. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Section 4-81 of the City Code is amended as follows: <br /> <br />No person holding an on-sale license for the sale of 3.2 percent malt liquor who is not <br />; also licensed to sell intoxicating liquor shall sell or permit the consumption or display of <br />intoxicating liquor on the licensed premises or serve any liquids for the purpose of mixing with <br />intoxicating liquor. The presence of intoxicating liquors on the premises shall be prima facie <br />evidence of possession of intoxicating liquors for the purpose of sale; and, the serving of any <br />liquid for the purpose of mixing with intoxicating liquors shall be prima facie evidence that <br />intoxicating liquor is being permitted to be consumed or displayed contrary to this Chapter <br />except for persons holding a nonintmdcating 3.2 percent malt liquor license which specifically <br />permits the preparation of setups on their premises. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> <br />Section 15-213 of the City Code is amended as follows: <br /> <br />:Nonmtoxieating or i:ntoxieatiflg liquorsAlcoholic beverages shall not be allowed on any <br />licensed premises at any time. <br /> <br />Section 5. <br /> <br />This ordinance is effective the date following its publication. <br /> <br />Adopted this 8th day of February, 2005. <br /> <br />Underlining indicates new material.
