'- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO, . 2506 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING PUBLICLY OWNE& LANDS UNNECCESSARY FOR <br />PUBLIC PURPOSES, AIDTHORIZING TRADE FOR ADJACENT LANDS OWNED BY <br />ELLIOT FUNK OF EQUAL VALUE AND AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO FORMALIZE TRADE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City of New Br ighton ownes a parcel of landi,at <br />Sunny Square Park which due to changing park development plans <br />it appears there is no need for such land for public use at <br />the present time or in the immediate future, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS Mr. Elliot Funk ownes an adjacent parcel of land which <br />due to its location is difficult to develop, has offered to <br />trade said property for above described city property, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the trade would benefit the city by making it possible <br />to locate the new playground area closer to the shelter building <br />and also by consolidating the park land, and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the council of the City of New <br />Brighton that trading city owned propery described as "all that <br />part of block seven (7) Sunnyside Heights, lying north of the <br />south line extended of lot five (5), block three (3), except <br />the west one hundred ninety-five (195) feet thereof, all in <br />Sunnyside Heights, according to the plat thereof filed for l!ecord <br />in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for said County" <br /> <br />FOR that part of lot one (1) block seven (7) lying between the - <br />extension of the north and south lines of lot seven (7) block <br />three (3), except the west one hundred ninety-five (195) feet, <br />Sunnyside Heights. <br /> <br />in the best interest of the city. <br /> <br /> <br />J <br /> <br /> <br />Fornell, Manager <br /> <br />k. ;7~ <br />
