" 2. Section 7 - 2 of the New Brighton City Code entitled "Same - Optional Appendices" is amended to read as follows: I 0 . Section 7 - 2. Same - Optional Appendices and Chapters. ": . The following appendices, standards, and supplemental materials and supplemental materials are not a mandatory part of the code but are adopted by reference for the City and are incorporated into this ordinance as completely as if set out in full: . a. Appendix Chapter 3, Division I and 2 b. Appendix Chapter 4, Division I and III c. Appendix Chapter 33 d. 1306 Special Fire Protection, Option 8 e. 1310 Building Security 3. Section 7 ~ 4 of the New Brighton City Code entitled "Organization and Enforcement" is amended to read as follows: . Section 7-4. Organization and Enforcement . The application, administration and enforcement of the Code shall be in accordance with Minnesota rule part 1300.2100 and as modified in Chapter 1305. The Code shall be enforced with the extraterritorial limits permitted by Minnesota Statute 16B.62, Subdivision 1 when so established by , this ordinance. The Community Development Department shall be the Building Code Department of the City. The administrative authority shall be a state certified "Building Official" as prescribed by Minnesota Statute 16B.65. The appointing authority shall be the city manager. 4. Section 7 - l6 of the New Brighton City Code entitled "Permits, Inspections, and Fees" is amended to read as follows: Section 7 - 16. Permits, Inspections, and Fees. " The issuance of permits and the collection of fees shall be as authorized in Minnesota Statute 16B.62, Subdivision 1 and as provided in Chapter 1 of the 1997 Uniform Building Code and Minnesota Rules, Parts 1305.0106 and 1305.0107. . Permit fees shall be assessed for work governed by this code in accordance with Section 7 - 18. In addition, a surcharge fee shall be collected on all permits issued for work governed by this code in accordance with Minnesota Statute 16B. 70. 5. Section 7 - 19 of the New Brighton City Code entitled "Violations and Penalties" is amended to read as follows:
