<br />, <br /> <br />! <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />~. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 645 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNfY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />~" <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ELIGIBILITY OF <br />PERSONS FOR RETAIL LIQUOR LICENSES; AMENDING <br />NEW BRIGHTON CITY CODE SECTIONS 4-72 AND 4-108. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW BRIGmON ORDAINS That the New Brighton <br />Code of Ordinances is amended as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Section 4-72 is amended as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 4-72. Persons ineligible. <br /> <br />(a) No license required by the provisions of this division shall be granted to or held by <br />any corporation. <br /> <br />(b) No license shall be granted to or held by any person; <br /> <br />(1) Under nineteen (19) years of age; <br /> <br />(2) Who is not of good moral character or repute; <br /> <br />(3) Who is an alien; <br /> <br />(4) Who is or has been convicted within five (5) years prior to the application of such <br />license for any willful violation of any law of the United States or the State of <br />Minnesota or of any local ordinance with regard to the manufacture, sale, <br />distribution, or possession for sale or distribution of intoxicating liquor, nor to any <br />person whose license has been revoked for any willful violation of any such laws or <br />ordinances. <br /> <br />(5) \l.'ha is a manufactHmr or is interested directly or indirectly in wholesale of <br />intoxicating liquor or the ownership or operation af any such b1.'lsiaess; but this shall <br />not prey,'eRt the issuance of a license for leased premises acquired by a manufactHrer <br />or '::holesaler prior to Noyember I, 1933. <br /> <br />(e~) Who is directly or indirectly interested in any other establishment in the <br />municipality to which a license of the same class has been issued under this chapter. <br /> <br />CLL-149311 1 <br />NE136.21 <br />
