<br />- - - -, ' ORDINANCE Nci--m-' <br /> <br />City Of New BrIGhton <br />County OfRanw.ey <br />St8te of Mlrlnee0t8 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY <br />CODE BY ADDING NEW SECTION 1. <br />5.5 AN ORDINANCE RELAlING TO <br />THE USE OF PUBLIC PROPERTY. <br />Sectlon 18-5.5 ~ules Govemlngthe Use of <br />City property , " <br />(al The CltyCouncit finds' that It is <br />necessary that functions, and prqceedl.ngs of <br />the City remain free from organized or ' <br />calculated confusion, disturbances or delay; <br />thatfrae,proper and lawful' access to, egmss <br />from and proper use of publiC property be <br />protected; that the conduct of public business <br />on public property free from Interferences or <br />disruption or the threat thereof -be protected; <br />that employees and, citizens be free to work <br />and conduct their lawful activities without <br />unreasonable interference or annoyance, <br />delay, harassment, intimidation. disturbance, <br />lear, unwanted advances, disruption, <br />oppression. or, persecutlpn, and that, public <br />property be protected, from, damage or <br />destruction;' <br />(b) To these ends the Manager'shall have <br />supervision over the buildings and other <br />propElrty' owned /;,ly ..runder tbecontrol 01 the <br />City. The Manager is authorIzed. ,~!Q, <br />Minnesota Statutlls Sections 624.72.412."2"-'- <br />and 412.221, Sd.3. to promulgate reasonable <br />rules and regulatlon5for thegoveming of <br />such public property. The Manager or the <br />Manager's authorized designee shall enforce <br />such rules and regulations and is authorized <br />to take an reasonable and necessary action to <br />achieve and secure compliance. <br />(cl Persons not abiding by such <br />promulgated regulations shall be asked to <br />leave the premises. The Manager or the <br />Manager" designee may revoke or suspend <br />such person's privilege of apeess to such <br />public property." The ,ManaQllr, or Manager's <br />designee may make continued use of the <br />public property, subject to reasonable <br />conditions.
