<br />2. The Mengelkoch Co. shall continue to perform all
<br />obligations required of it by its agreement with
<br />the City of N~w Brighton ~ated January 25~ 1977,
<br />and as amended by a subsequent agreement dated
<br />December 12, 1978.
<br />
<br />3. That any plugging or impairment of the operation of
<br />the City sewer system with grease will be considered
<br />prima facia evidence that Section 24-8 of the City
<br />Code, Section 15-147 of the City Code, Article V,
<br />Section 5-4A of the Rules and Regulations for the
<br />Metropolitan Sewer Disposal System have been and are
<br />being violated and that the right of the rendering
<br />plant to use the City sewer system is therby immediately
<br />suspended. The amount of grease discharged into the
<br />City sewer system shall be 100 mg. per liter or less.
<br />If the City sanitary sewer system or lift station wet
<br />well becomes plugged as a result of the operations at
<br />the rendering plants, the cost of cleaning shall be
<br />paid by the rendering plants making use of that part
<br />of the sewer system that has become plugged.
<br />
<br />4. That the Mengelkoch Company be appraised that the City
<br />of New Brighton will continue to work with the MPCA and
<br />the Metropolitan Sewer Board to assure that all
<br />applicable rules, regulations and codes are complied
<br />with.

<br />5. That not less than two, and at the City's discretion,
<br />up to four stack tests are to be made each year and
<br />that frequent inspections be made by the City
<br />Sanitarian to make sure the Mengelkoch Company is
<br />complying with the City's requirements.
<br />
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That violation of, or failure to
<br />comply with, any conditions of this Offensive Trades License
<br />shall be cause for suspension or revocation of this license,
<br />and that such suspension or revocation shall be considered by
<br />the City Council.
