I' <br />... <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2342 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CHANGING THE ALIGNMENT OF MUNICIPAL STATE AID ROUTE <br />147-102 (14th STREET NW, WEST OF SILVER LAKE ROAD AND NON- <br />EXISTING CONNECTION TO NORTH INNSBRUCK DRIVE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of New Brighton <br />designated 14th Street NW and a non-existing southwesterly <br />extention thereof, between Silver Lake Road and North <br />Innsbruck Drive as Municipal State Aid Route 147-102 and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The construction of a southwesterly extention <br />of 14th Street NW west of 29th Avenue is no longer feasibly <br />due to the development of the Innsbruck North Second <br />Addition in this area, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, One of the requirements of a state aid street <br />is that it connects into other Municipal or County state aid <br />streets at its end points, and <br /> <br />! WHEREAS, The designation of 29th Avenue NW between <br />14th Street NW and 16th Avenue NW would bring 14th Street <br />back into conformance with state aid street requirements and <br />would be logical from a traffic circulation standpoint. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of <br />the City of New Brighton that: <br /> <br />I' <br /> <br />1. The designation of the non-existing westerly <br />extention of 14th Street NW between 29th Avenue NW <br />and Innsbruck Drive, a distance of 0.260 miles is <br />hereby revoked. <br />2. That 29th Avenue NW between 14th Street NW and <br />16th Avenue NW a distance of 0.249 miles is hereby <br />established, located and designated a municipal <br />state aid street, subject to the approval of the <br />Commissioners of Transportation of the State of <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City is hereby authoriz- <br />ed and directed to forward two certified copies of this <br />resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for his <br />consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation <br />of said road or portion thereof, that same be constructed, <br />improved and maintained as a Municipal State Aid Street of the <br />City of New Brighton, to be numbered and known as Municipal <br />State Aid Street 102. <br /> <br />Adopted thi s 24th day of <br /> <br />, 1980. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~M.~:,AO~ <br />Vernon C.
