Chapter IV shall hereby be amended to add the <br />following: <br />SECTION 4-460 <br /> <br />SECTION 4.462 <br /> <br />I <br />R-4Manufactured Housing Developmen4 <br />, Intent <br /> <br />It is the intent of these regulations to encourage <br />the provision of low-to~moderate-income housing in <br />a planned residential environment by permitting <br />manufactured homes as defined in Section 2-465. <br />This development is subject to the following <br />requirements and procedures set forth herein to <br />assure acceptable similarity in exterior <br />appearance between such mobile homes/manufactured <br />homes and dwellings that have been or might be <br />constructed under these and other lawful regula- i <br />tions on adjacent lots in any residential district~ <br />Areas of the Ci ty that are designed low or medium 1 <br />density residential in the Proposed Land Use Map I <br />of the New Brighton Comprehensive Plan would be ! <br />considered for application of this zoning district.j <br /> <br />SECTION 4-464 Permitted Uses, R~4 District <br /> <br />a. Manufactured single family dwelling. <br />b. Single family dwelling. <br />c. Zero lot line single family dwellings including <br />manufactured dwellings. <br />d. All manufactured home developments must be <br />a minimum of 2 acres in area. <br />b. All manufactured home developments shall be <br />platted in accordance with Chapter 26, <br />Subdivisions of the City Code and must be <br />platted into individual lots to be sold <br />individually or platted with individual owner- <br />ship of lots with common space controlled and <br />maintained by an association. I <br />c. In the case of a development in which the entir~ <br />parcel is to be divided into individual I <br />platted lots to be sold individually, and . <br />where there is no common open space, the <br />following minimum requirements shall be observ~ <br />ed. Wherever possible, the side of the home . <br />with the longest dimension shall be placed <br />facing the street. <br />
