Ii <br />., <br /> <br />-3- <br /> <br />SECTION v: <br /> <br />That Section 8-620, Public Hearing, is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Public hearings held to consider the rezoning <br />of any property shall betn strict accordance <br />with the provisions of Section 8-320 of this <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />All other public hearings referred to in the <br />ordinance shall be b~ld by the planning <br />commission after notice of the time and place <br />of such hearing has been published in the <br />official newspaper at least ten (10) days <br />before the hearing. The planning Commission <br />shall cause notice to be mailed to each of the <br />owners of property within three hundred fifty <br />(350) feet of the property under consideration <br />at the hearing, [and] such notices shall be <br />mailed to the last known address of the <br />owners at least ten (10) days before the <br />hearing. <br /> <br />In all cases~ except those which include only <br />a building permit application, the council may <br />act upon a four-fifths vote of its membership. <br />All public hearings held by the planning <br />commission prtor to council action in any <br />matter shall conform with the procedure set <br />forth in this section of this ordinance. <br /> <br />SECTION VI: That Section 2,6-7 (a) (4), Preliminary Plat, <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />a. An abstractors certificate showing the <br />names of all property owners within three <br />hundred fifty (350) feet of the property <br />being platted. <br /> <br />SECTION VII: That Section 26-7(f), Preliminary Plat, is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />f. The Council shall set a publ i c hearing <br />on the preliminary plat, such hearing to <br />be held as soon as practicable, but within <br />at least fifty (50) days. The Council <br />shall conduct the hearing. The clerk shall <br />cause notice of said hearing to be published <br />in the official newspaper at least ten (10) <br />days prior to the hearing, and shall also <br />cause a notice to be mailed to each of the <br />owners of property within three hundred <br />fifty (350) feet of the property being <br />platted, such notices to be mailed to the <br />last known adress of such owners at least <br />ten (10) days before the hearing. <br /> <br />SECTION VIII: <br /> <br />That Section 26-24, MinJr Subdivisions is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />
