Approved shall mean acceptable to the health authority <br />in conformance with appropriate standards and good <br />public health practice. <br /> <br />c. Clean shall mean free from physical, chemical, and <br />microbial substance discernible by ordinary sight or <br />touch, by ultra-violet light, by artificial light, <br />and the safraine-Q-dye test and free from insects, <br />vermin, and debris. <br /> <br />d. ~ployee shall include the manager, owner and anyone subject <br />to direction by the manager or owner who renders a personal <br />service, with or without compensation, within a food <br />establishment. <br /> <br />e. Employee Coffee Room shall mean a food establishment wherein <br />a person may prepare his own food which has been brought <br />from his home and which food establishment is unorganized <br />in nature, and may be characterized by such items as vending <br />machines I' limited food prepara tion equ ipment, such as a <br />stove and refrigerator, and/or a common coffee maker. <br /> <br />f. Food shall mean any raw, cooked, or processed substance, <br />beverage, or ingredient used or intended for use in while, <br />or in part, for human consumption. The term "food" shall <br />further include, but not be limited to, ice and water. <br /> <br />g. Food Contact Surfaces shall mean those surfaces of the <br />equipment and utensils with which food normally comes <br />into contact and those surfaces with which food may come <br />in contact except by spill, and surfaces which drain back <br />onto surfaces in contact with food. <br /> <br />h. Food Establishment shall mean any building, room, stand, <br />enclosure, vehicle, space, area, or other place wherein <br />food is stored, prepared, manufactured, processed, wrapped, <br />canned, packed, bottled, transported, distributed, sold or <br />offered for sale or served in any way for financial considera- <br />tion. <br />
