Compliance Date. <br /> <br />All existing uses shall immediately comply with the <br />provisions of this ordinance, except that where compliance <br />with this ordinance will require major alterations to an <br />existing use, the health authority may extend the <br />compliance date for a reasonable period not to exceed two <br />years from (the effective date <br />of this ordinance). Persons, firms or corporations required <br />to comp~ete major alterations under this Code may request <br />a further extension of time from the City Council. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Violation Penalties. Any person, firm or <br />corporation violating any provision of this ordinance shall <br />be guilty ofa misdemeanor. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Severability. Each prov1s1on of this ordinance <br />is separable and a declaration of invalidity of anyone <br />provision thereof shall not invalidate the remainder. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. Effective Date.
