Section 3-60 is hereby amended by adding <br />thereto a paragraph f. which shall read as follows: <br /> <br />f. A non-conforming use permit, when not used, <br />shall expire after one hundred eighty (180) <br />days after date of authorization unless <br />written application for renewal or time <br />extension is received and granted by the City <br />Council prior to the expiration date. <br /> <br />Section II. Chapter 10 is hereby amended by adding <br />thereto a section 10-180 which shall read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 10-180 Time Limit. <br />a. A building permit authorized by the City Council <br />for the construction or enlargement of a structure <br />other than a single or double family residence, <br />when not used, shall expire after one hundred <br />eighty (180) days after date of City Council <br />authorization as required by Section 10-170 <br />unless written application for renewal or time <br />extension is received and granted by the City <br />Council prior to the expiration date. <br /> <br />b. For purposes of this ordinance a building permit <br />authorization is considered used when the building <br />permit has been issued by the building inspector. <br /> <br />II <br />II <br /> <br />c.
