The Health Authority shall order the immediate <br />closure of any public swimming pool and shall post notice of said <br />closure and the reason therefor when any of the following conditio s <br />are found: <br /> <br />a. The proper units of safety equipment are not <br />provided. <br /> <br />b. The clarity is such that a black disc, 6 inches in <br />diameter, is not readily visible when placed on a <br />white field at the deepest point of the pool. <br /> <br />c. The disinfectant residual is found to be below the <br />accepted levels established in "Regulations on the <br />Design, Construction, and Operations of Public <br />swimming po01~lIadopt.~d by reference in Section 490:10, <br />Subd. 4. <br /> <br />d. Any other condition which..endangers the health, <br />safety, or welfare of the public. <br /> <br />I Subd. 8. The pool shall remain closed until the conditions <br />I are corrected and re-opening the pool is authorized by the Health <br />I! Authority after a reinspection. <br />r <br />Ii Section 4. Section 490:68 is hereby added to Section 490 <br />II of the 1966 Code of Ordinances and slIall read as follows: <br /> <br />'! <br />II SECTION 490:68. Appeal. The owner or operator of an <br />Ii existing swimming pool may appeal to the City Council for a <br />II deviation from the strict application of this ordinance. <br />,1 <br /> <br />il Section 5. Effective Date.
