He shall investigate all reportfid incidents of infestation by oak wilt fungus or Dutch elm fungus or elm bark beetles. I. Subd. 2. :Ent-ry on private premises . Subd. 3. Diagnosis. The forester shall, upon finding conditio s indicating oak wilt or Dutch elm infestation, immediately have appropriate specimens or samples analyzed by qualified botanists lor take such other steps for diagnosis as may be appropriate. Except as provided in Section 640:30 and 640:35, no action to remOVe infested trees or wood shall be taken until positive diagnosis of the disease has been made. SECTION 640:25 Abatement of Oak Wilt Disease and. Dutch Elm Disease Nui~ance. 'of \ Subd. 1. In abating the nuisance defined in Section 640:15, the forester shall cause the infected tree or wood to be sprayed, removed or ot.herwise effectively treated so as to destroy and prevent as fully as possible the spread of oak wilt disease fungus, Dutch .elm dise~se fungus and elm bark beetles. Such abatement procedures shall be carried out in accorqance with current '~x.pert technicalop'iniphs:andplans. SECTION 640:30 procedure for Wood onpu};)lic p+op~'r~~. subd. l.
