Should the forester ,abate a nuisance as required by: Subd. l, Part (a) or (b) the cost of that abatement will be assessed against the owner of the property involved. The council may lethids for such projects. SECTI.ON 640:40 Treatment ofoak"and Elm Trees Subd. 1. Whenever the forester det;ermines that any elm or oak tree or elm or oak wood witb.in<theVillage'is infected with Dutch elm fungus or oak wilt fungUs he may treat all nearby high value elm or oak trees with effective concentrates. Treatment activities authorized by this section shall be conducted in accordancewitb technical and expert opini,ons and plans. Subd. 2. The notice provisions of section 640: 35 apply to treatment operations conducted uliderthis Section. The council may let bids for treatment projects with the cost of treatrnentto be assessed against affected property owners. SECTION 640:45 Subd.l.
