Whenever the forester det;ermines that any elm or <br />oak tree or elm or oak wood witb.in<theVillage'is infected with <br />Dutch elm fungus or oak wilt fungUs he may treat all nearby high <br />value elm or oak trees with effective concentrates. Treatment <br />activities authorized by this section shall be conducted in <br />accordancewitb technical and expert opini,ons and plans. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. The notice provisions of section 640: 35 apply to <br />treatment operations conducted uliderthis Section. The council <br />may let bids for treatment projects with the cost of treatrnentto <br />be assessed against affected property owners. <br /> <br />SECTION 640:45 <br /> <br /> <br />Subd.l. It is unlawful'faraIiy 'p.erson to transport within <br />the Village any bark bearing elinwQod without having obtained a <br />permit f]:'om the forester. The forester shall grant such permits <br />only when the purposes of this orCi.1:nance will be served thereby. <br /> <br />SECTION 640:50 Interf~ienGe Prohibited <br /> <br />Subd. 1.
