RE	Planning Commissioner Bruce Howard

Mr. Bruce Howard was appointed to the Planning Commission by the City Council in January. He will be taking over his role as Commissioner on February 17, 2004.

During his service as New Brighton City Councilmember, Bruce displayed civic leadership and good judgment within the context of land use policy. His insight into zoning issues and willingness to work hard to examine the issues affecting the New Brighton were a benefit to all City residents and business owners.

I know Mr. Howard will continue to be a valuable asset to the City in his new role; therefore, on behalf of the Planning Commission, I wish to extend a welcome to Bruce.
