The City has applied for
an application to amend the Comprehensive Plan to amend the future land use
designation for 1853 and

the City either owns or is negotiating the purchase of the lots from the
various owners
The
two single family structures and the vacant Parcel “B” has a future land use of
LI, Light Industrial and is proposed to be combined with adjacent parcels and
re-platted for the Beisswenger Hardware Store site. These adjacent parcels to be used for the new
hardware store have a future land use designation of MX, Mixed Use.
The
Council should amend the future land use of Parcel B from LI to MX to be
consistent with the adjacent parcels.
