B CUTS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF ~ ..' The Village Council of the Village of New Brighton does ordain: ,\ " Section LA.pplication: This ordinance shall apply only to Village stre8 s having barrier type curbs. Section II Naximum Driveway Width: The maximum width of a driveway, as measured along the curb line, shall be 35 feet unless a special permit for a greater width is obtained from the Village Council. Section m Location Limited: (a) The minumum distance between the edge of a driveway and the p:roj ected right-of-way line of an ir:.:~ersecting street, &S measured at the curb line, shall be 15 feet. OJ) The minumu distance between the edges of two driveways, as measured along the curb line, shall be ]0 feet. Section IV Number Limited: The maximum numb8r of driveways to a single property shall be two (2) unless a special permit for a greater number i obtained fr~u the Village Council. Section V Curb Cuts-Permit. Fee Wld Deposit ReQuired: It shall be unla - ful to cut or :remove any barrier type curb for the purpose of installing driv8\lay opening or any other purpose without first obtaining a permit therefore from the Village. Application for such perrni t shall bo made to the Village Clerk. i:ach application for such permit; shall be accompanied with plans and specific(;l,tions for the propsfi.d work, a permit fee of $20.00 and a deposit of $200.00 for each proposed curb cut to guarantee proteilction an.d restoration of the Village street, curb and gutter. The Village Engineer shall approve the plans and specifications before such pe:rmi t shall issue.
