ORDINANCE NO. 167 VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 56 WHICH IS AN ORDINANCE KNOWN AS THE "BUILDING CODEt! and PROVIDING FOR THE REQUlREME T OF PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE BY ALL LICENSEES. The Village Council of the Village of New Brighton does ordain: SECTION 1. Section eight Subdivision 8-10 of Ordinance No. 56, which is an ordinance known as the "Building Codett is hereby amended to read: 8~lO No license granted under the terms stated herein shall become effective until the licensee shall have filed with the Clerk of the municipality certificates of policies of public liability and property damage insurance which shall remain in full force and effect during the term of said license and which shall contain a provision that such policy cannot be cancelled without ten days notice to the municipality. Public liability insurance shall be for an amount not less than $50,000. for injuries, including accidental death, to anyone person, and subject to the same limit for each person, for an amount of'not less than $100,000.00 on account of anyone accident, and propert damage insurance in the amount of not less than $25,000.00. No work shall be done under any license issued until such certifioat s of insurance have been filed with and approved by the Clerk of the municipality. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication according to law.
