The Villa.ge Oounoil of the Village of New Brighton does ordain: SEOTION I.. Registration system adopted. The system for the permanent registration of votex-s provided by Minnesota Statutes, Ohapter 20l.01 to 20l.27 inclusive is hereby adopted for the Village of New Brighton. SECTION 2. Voters must be registered. No person shall be permitted to vote at any election held in the Village of New Brighton unless such. person shall be rc:3-stered in accordance with provisions of Minnesota Statutes Sections 20l..0l to 20l.271 except as provided in Section 204.075.. . SECTION 3. Violations, pe.nalties.. Any officer, deputy, clerk or oth.er employee who shall willfully fail to perform or enforce any of the provisions of this ordinance or of Minnesota Statutes 201..01 to 201.27, or who shall unlawfully or fraudulently remove any registration card or record from its proper compartment in the registration filest or who shall willfully destroy any recDrd provided by this ordinance or Minnesota Statutes 201..01 to 201.27 to be kept. or any person who shall willfully or fraudulently register more than once, or register under any name but his true name, or attempt to vote by impersonating another who is registered, or willfully registers in any precinct where he. is not a resident at any time of registering,. or who adds a name or names to the resigtrationfiles, records or cards, or who violates any of the provisions of this -ordinance and Minnesota Statutes 20l..0l to 201..27 is:2:uiltv when 'Dr-osecuted under the
