L5/ VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON COUN TY 0 F RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE #121, WHICH AMENDS ORDINANCE # 57: RATES AND REGULATIONS FOR WATER METERS AND SERVICES AND PROVISIONS FOR mE COLLECTION THEREOF. The Village Council of the Village of New Brighton does ordain: Section 1. Section 2, paragraph (a) of Ordinance No. 121 is 4mended to read as follows: All water meters installed in singl e family dwellings under the provisions of this ordinance shall remain the property of the Village of New Brighton. ALl other meters, commercial or industrial, shall be furnished by the owners or occupants of commercial or industrial premises, and shall be of a type approved by the municipality. The owners or occupants of a single family dwelling shall deposit in the Village Treasury at the time a water meter is delivered to the premises an amount determined by the Village that is sufficient to cover the cost of said mter,~its installation thereof. Said deposi t representing the cost of the meter wi.ll be used by the Village to procure such meter and the deposit will be returned to the occupants or owner in the event of a change of occupancy or ownership less any outstanding utility charges existing at the time of the deposit return. Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in full force and take effect fol owing its approval by the Village Council and publication in the legal newspaper.
