Definitions. As used in this ordinance, the following definitions <br /> <br />shall apply: <br /> <br />A. Coin-operated dry cleaning machine. 'lbe term coin" operated dry cleaning <br /> <br /> <br />machine shall mean any dry cleaning machine, including integral parts <br /> <br />originally designed and/or intended for use as a self service dry cleaning <br /> <br />machine by the general public for a consideration. This shall include all <br /> <br />machines operated by a coin or chip and/or all machines which may be <br /> <br />operated directly by the attendant acting for the cust~er where the <br /> <br />cust~er can await the completion of the cycle and the machine is located <br /> <br />in the customer area. Bach cleming cylinder will be interpreted to mean <br /> <br />one machine. <br /> <br />B. Coin operated dry cleaning machine plant. 'lbe term "coin-operated dry <br /> <br />cleaning machine plant" shall mean any structure in which any number of <br /> <br />coin-operated dry cleaning machines, as defined above, are installed, for <br /> <br />use as self-service dry cleaning machines. <br /> <br />C. Bquipment. The word "equipment" shall mean all mechanical and electrical <br /> <br />items within or on the exterior of the plant necessary for the plant's <br /> <br />operation and shall include but not be limited to dry cleaningmacbines, <br /> <br />ductwork, fans, blowers, solvent storage tanks,pumps, heating devices, <br /> <br />and refuse containers. <br /> <br />D .. Dry Cleaning. 'lbe term "dry cleaning If is hereby def ined as the pr ocess of <br /> <br />removing dirt, grease, paints and other stain from wearing apparel, tex- <br /> <br />tiles, fabrics, rugs and similar items, by the use of non-aqueour liquid <br /> <br />solvents, flammable or non-flammable. <br />
