VILLAGE OF NEW BRIGHTON COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA \,.1> AN ORDINMCE REQUIRING THE TRANSFER OF A PERCENTAGE OF THE GROSS WATER SERVICE CHARGES AND GROSS SEWER CHARGES TO THE DEBT REDEMPTION FUND, AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 58. The Council of the Village of New Brighton does ordain, Section l. Purpose. In order to establish a uniform procedure for the transfer of funds from water and sewer charges to the debt redemption fund the following procedure is hereby established. Section 2. Immediately following the quarterly billing the Village Clerk shall, by proper accounting methods, determine the gross receipts from the water service charges and sewer charges. Gross receipts shall be defined as the total am:>unt of receipts from the operation of the water and sewer departments, before operating or fixed expenses are deducted therefrom. Section 3. The Clerk shall submit to the Village Council at its first regular meeting following the last day of the previous billing said figures, and the Council shall by resolution order the transfer of the following sums from the water service charges and sewer charges to the water service account and sewer account of the debt redemption fund, hereby established: (a) lO% of the gross water service charge (b) 5% of the gross sewer charge Section 4. Ordinance No. 58, Section 2, Subdivision b, the third paragraph is amended to read as follows: The Village of New Brighton sewage rental rate is based upon the present City of Minneapolis and Twin Cities Arsenal sewer rental charges, the Village of New Brighton operating and maintenance costs and including retirement of the construction costs of the sewer pumping station.
