Establishment of Industrial Cornr;lission. A <br /> <br />village industrial cDrllrnission for the Village of Jew Brighton is hereby <br /> <br />es tablished. <br /> <br />SECTIOJ 2. Purpose. The prime pU,rpose of the Inul1,strial <br /> <br />Comrnission is to encourage the industrial <:1'.ld commercial development of the <br /> <br />Village of iTew Brighton. <br /> <br />SECTIO"T .3. Composi tio;1. Such industrial commission shall <br /> <br />consist of seven members to be appointed by the Village Council. <br /> <br />Of the members of the commission first appointed, three <br /> <br />shall be appointed for a term endin(; Decenber 31, 1961, t-vJO for a term endinG <br /> <br />Dece:n1ber 31, 1962, and tuo for a 'Gerin 8')oing December 31, 1963. '.i.lleir Successors <br /> <br />shall be appointed for terri1S of three years. Both or:i.[;inal and aueces,give appointees <br /> <br />shall hold their offices U'ltil their suecesso:cs are appointed al1d qualified. <br /> <br />There shall be no ox officio members. Vnca:'lc5.es during the term shall be filled <br /> <br />by the council for the unexpired portion of the term. Every appoi:nted <br /> <br />merllber shall before entering l"lpOn the dischare;e of his dut.ies take an oath <br /> <br />that he will faithfully discharge '~he duties of his office. All members shall <br /> <br />Serve without compensation. A member need not be a resident of the Village <br /> <br />of :Jew Brighton. <br /> <br />SECTIO~'T 4. OrGanization, Noetings, Etc. The COiIlmission <br /> <br />shall elect a chairman from among its appointed members for a term of on,e year; <br /> <br />and the coralnissiol may create add fill such other offices as it may det.ermine. <br /> <br />The Commission shall hold at least one regular Ineeting <br /> <br />oach month. It Shall adopt rules for the transaction of business a-1Q shall <br /> <br />keep a record of its resolutions, trans&ctio.:1s, and fin.dings, \.Jhich record <br /> <br />shall he a public record.
